The Greeners participated in yet another tree plantation initiative promoted by the municipality of Vila Nova de Famalicão. This initiative is a part of the municipality’s project entitled “30 thousand trees for 2030” and took place in Avidos.
This group of volunteers from OFICINA – Colégio das Caldinhas Professional School, the greeners, started their school holidays in touch with nature and dedicated time to taking care of the planet.
At the end of the initiative, which lasted the whole morning, the volunteers shared feelings of great satisfaction for having contributed to the increase of the municipality’s green spaces and for the teamwork they developed with other volunteers that attended this initiative, namely 1st grade children.
The tree-planting actions are one of the initiatives to which the Greeners often associate themselves with throughout every Bgreen edition.
In the coming months, the Greeners wish to continue working in caring for our Common Home taking part in awareness campaigns, workshops and other activities of social and environmental intervention in the region.
