The international Grand Gala of the bgreen // ecological film festival sails once more to Vila Nova de Famalicão for it’s 9th Edition. On June 7th, at 21h30 at Parque da Devesa, we’ll get to know the grand winners of this year’s edition.
Under the motto Blue Home, this year’s edition had the participation of more than 450 spots from 16 countries in the different categories.
This year, we had the first participations from India and Burundi! We have reached Asia and Africa. Welcome! After knowing the finalists, the participation of such distant nations, which are at the same time so close because of Bgreen, is an honor for us. From Burundi, Brazil, Colombia, France, Ireland, to Spain, Germany and Norway, many were the countries present in this edition. The finalists will experience a cultural program filled with visits to many points of interest in the North of Portugal and the participation in workshops related to areas such as sustainable development, global citizenship, communication and audiovisual.
Bgreen’s international Gala represents the pinnacle of a year in which the environment cause touched thousands of young people around the globe. In this Gala, more than a thousand people are expected at Parque da Devesa. The transmission can be watched live via bgreen’s official website.
Since bgreen’s first edition, in 2001, the number of participants has been steadily increasing. On June 7th, we’ll know who the grand winners in the following contest’s categories are: bgreen’s Grand Prize Award, bgreen Junior, Honorable Mention, Best Making of, People’s Choice Award and Alphonse Luisier Award. This award ceremony’s entry is free and will have the musical presence of ARTAVE – Escola Profissional Artística do Vale do Ave and the dance group Groove Monsters Dance Company.
