Bgreen // ecological film festival is among the finalists of the Green Project Awards 2017 in the category of Social Innovation Green Project Awards – Sociedade Ponto Verde. Another praise for OFICINA’s project, which is already on its 8th edition.

Green Project Awards is an initiative of national reference promoted by the Portuguese Environment Agency, GCI and Quercus ANCN, which recognizes good practices in projects that promote sustainable development. The award ceremony will be held this Friday, January 12th, at Alfândega do Porto from 9h00 to 13h00.

Bgreen // ecological film festival is an initiative that aims to raise young people’s awareness towards environmental issues through video spots. The competition is open to students worldwide aged between 13 and 21.

In order to participate, students must create a video spot on environmental issues such as pollution, global warming, deforestation, water shortages, renewable energies, recycling, among many others.
The theme of this 8th edition is You are nature and it seeks to highlight the symbiotic relation between human and nature.

Green Project Awards’ Social Innovation Category rewards projects or initiatives that contribute to the development and empowerment of society by presenting creative and sustainable solutions to meet society’s current needs and challenges.
