{"id":6116,"date":"2023-12-05T17:14:11","date_gmt":"2023-12-05T17:14:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bgreenfestival.com\/?p=6116"},"modified":"2023-12-05T17:14:11","modified_gmt":"2023-12-05T17:14:11","slug":"13th-edition-bgreen-what-goes-around-comes-around","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bgreenfestival.com\/en\/13th-edition-bgreen-what-goes-around-comes-around\/","title":{"rendered":"13th edition BGREEN &#8211; \u201cWhat goes around comes around&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe title=\"BGREEN_APRESENTACAO_EN_L_PT\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/779536346?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bgreen \/\/ ecological film festival is a grand international project which has already had the participation of 31 countries throughout its twelve editions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bgreen festival consists in the production of video spots, created by students aged 13 to 21 on ecological related issues.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What goes around comes around<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8221; is this edition\u2019s slogan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is Bgreen\u2019s intention to create awareness regarding the importance of Man\u2019s action in nature and its positive or negative impact. \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What goes around comes around<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d aims at, on the one hand, highlight Man\u2019s negative behavior in the management of natural resources and the relationship with the Planet, but, on the other hand, also bring hope associated with the adoption of positive and innovative behaviors that may prove to be solutions for the ecological challenges we face nowadays.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In connection to this slogan we suggest the following subthemes that, among many others, are some ideas for this year\u2019s spots: Management of natural resources: water, soils, fossil fuels, rainforests, among others. forced migration due to natural phenomena, climate crisis, energy transition, sustainable cities\/communities, environmental education and integral ecology.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As in previous editions, this year we have two categories:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>BGREEN JUNIOR<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; for students aged 13 and 14 years old (in Portugal, students attending the 8th and 9th grade or equivalent);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>BGREEN<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; for youngsters aged between 15 and 21 years old (Secondary or vocational studies).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you want to participate, get together a group of 4 students and along with a teacher, create a video spot (with a <\/span><b>maximum length of 45 seconds)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on an environmental issue that may or not be connected to the theme of the present edition.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All students that want to participate should send their video spots on environmental issues until <\/span><b>April, 19th 2024<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The grand prize is an Eco-Adventure trip to the Azores!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All participants are invited to attend the festival\u2019s Grand Gala that will take place on <\/span><b>June 7th, 2024<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in Vila Nova de Famalic\u00e3o.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are looking forward to your participation!<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Bgreen \/\/ ecological film festival is a grand international project which has already had the participation of 31 countries throughout its twelve editions.
