The winners of the Bgreen Grand Prize – 2021<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

This year, the island of S.Miguel welcomed once again the winners of the Bgreen Grand Prize and, for the first time, also the winners of the Alphonse Luisier Award.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the 20th October, the winners landed in the city of Ponta Delgada to indulge in three days of adventure in the heart of a truly natural paradise that has been protected from human action.<\/strong> Did you know that the colourful hydrangeas we see along the roads and in the middle of fields are not just to beautify but also to divide the land? What an incredible way to divide the terrain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The days were spent in fascinating parks, such as Terra Nostra Park, with which everyone was amazed by the diversity of flora and beautiful thermal pool, as well as Caldeira Velha. The winners had the opportunity to wander through lakes that were true mirrors, not of the soul, but of the lush nature, such as Lagoa do Fogo, Lagoa das Furnas and Sete Cidades, and there was still time to taste the famous and delicious cozido das furnas<\/em> , as well as the queijadas<\/em> from Vila Franca do Campo and the tea from Gorreana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During their stay in the Azores, our winners were able to sail in the Atlantic Ocean to watch the cetaceans and were treated to the presence of dolphins, whales and sperm whales, a truly unique moment.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Returning to the continent was in silence as everyone was in awe of the days and experiences lived in the Azores and in their minds, a new objective had been set, as shared by Teacher Oysten: \u201cWe are already planning our next participation\u2026 We had an amazing time, the trip was really spectacular! And the Azores is such a wonderful island, so much to see.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
