Charlottenlund\u2019s team addressed the theme <a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/170665423\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u201cNature\u2019s Power\u201d<\/a> on the actions we may take so as to have a planet where clean energy is our main resource. The winners of the grand prize were awarded an <a href=\"https:\/\/bgreenfestival.com\/en\/grand-prize\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">EcoAdventure trip to the Azores<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Having received more than 150 spots during the course of this edition, the Grand Gala took place in F\u00e1brica de Santo Thyrso and was attended by more than 30 schools. Besides the grand prize, four other awards were unveiled throughout the night, awards such as OFICINA\u2019s Alphonse Luisier \u2013 <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/170666523\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kung Fu Fighting<\/a><\/strong> (Santo Tirso, Portugal); Best making of \u2013 <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/170666309\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Experience Nature<\/a><\/strong>, Charlottenlund School (Trondheim, Norway); People\u2019s Choice award \u2013 <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/170665652\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dear Earth<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>from Col\u00e9gio San Jose Jesuitak Ikastetxea (Basque Country, Spain) and Honorable Mention \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/170664800\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>H\u00e1 Pouco Mundo<\/strong><\/a> from Col\u00e9gio D. Diogo de Sousa (Braga, Portugal).<\/p>\n<p>OFICINA\u2019s headmaster, Miguel S\u00e1 Carneiro, believes that after six years bgreen is \u201covercoming all expectations and reaching a new degree of excellence and quality\u201d. Joaquim Couto, the Mayor of the municipality of Santo Tirso, considered OFICINA as an example of a school in the front line of environmental issues. \u201cOFICINA\u2019s model is an example to be followed within the municipality\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from all the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bgreenfestival.com\/en\/award-winners-bgreen-2016\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">bgreen awards<\/a><\/strong>, all finalist schools were given a participation certificate and, although they did not take home a \u201cPenguin\u201d, they all achieved excellent performances and are also to be congratulated.<\/p>\n<p>We remind you that the finalist schools were the following:\u00a0 Alfacoop &#8211; Externato Infante D.
